ODDO-SAIDI
A MULTIDISCIPLINARY DESIGN STUDIO
ABOUT MARIA
New York City native Maria Saidi studied at the Art Students League before continuing her education at Parsons School of Design. In New Jersey she studied with Gary Godbee and briefly with Max Ginsburg. Maria's work—deeply rooted in personal narrative—centers on a pursuit of beauty. Her work is a devotion to artistic technique with the goal of evoking an atmosphere of spiritual contemplation. By combining graphic design with other art forms, she continually pushes the limits of her creativity.
Maria is the founder and creative director of her eponymous boutique graphic design studio in Montclair, New Jersey where she brings her distinctive aesthetic sensibility to select client projects.
Her art has been exhibited at Lincoln Center's Cork Gallery, The Paterson Museum, Montclair Art Museum Student Gallery, and various curated gallery spaces throughout New Jersey.
Notable clients include cosmetics pioneer Bobbi Brown, 18 Label Production Studio, iheartradio, Astra Publishing, Word Design Press and Pulitzer Prize Finalist author, Candy J. Cooper.
She has served as Membership Chair for Studio Montclair, a non-profit organization dedicated to exhibiting, promoting, and supporting visual artists.
